Another Wide-Body Recommendation: Clifford Crunch

If you looked at the entry below about cereal, you may have noticed the recommendation about eating cold cereal as a night time snack, especially if you have a sweet tooth like me. Skip the Blue Bell ice cream (they just released "Snickerdoodle" flavor!) and go right for the cereal and you'll save yourself some guilt and unwanted calories.

So, which cereal should you buy? The article from Runner's World recommended a cereal of less than 160 calories per cup, and no more than 12 grams of sugar.

The Wide-Body is here to help. How about 100 calories per cup, 6 grams of sugar, and 5 grams of fiber? Sounds like I'm recommending a card board box? Well guess what, I'm recommending a kids cereal!

Folks, check out Clifford Crunch from Cascadian Farms. I saw this at the store one day and decided to pick it up for the kids (they love Clifford the Big Red Dog). When I read the nutrition label and that the cereal is made by an organic producer, I was quite happy.

But the flavor is the hook. For as little sugar as the cereal has, it is very flavorful and took care of my sweet tooth.

So let's review, its below the calorie target, low sugar, good fiber content, takes care of the sweet tooth, its organic, and it tastes good. Yep, that qualifies for a Wide-Body recommendation. Get some soon.
