Guess what I forgot today?
I went for my 6 mile run this morning, it wasn't too hot, yet the humidity hung on me like a wet blanket. Within he first mile, I was drenched and there wasn't a breeze to help evaporate the sweat.
And guess what I forgot? I forgot to put on some waterproof tape on my nips. When I jumped into the shower, YOWZA!, I thought the wife would have to peel me off the ceiling. I should know better, when you have days like this, no amount of wicking/moisture control material can get the sweat off you effectively.
What did you say? TMI? Well, I'm trying to share as much as I can of myself without being gross.
In the next entry, I'll share with you all the pictures from my recent prostate exam. Just kidding.
One thing I am finding out about diet and training is that pizza is not good training food for me. Yes, I know that sounds silly on the surface, so let me explain. Friday's are "no cooking" night at the Wide-Body house. Pizza fits well into that schedule, and when you think about all of the components in a pizza, you would think it would provide plenty of fuel for running. Instead, I'm finding that I feel sluggish the next morning. Sluggish doesn't cut it for long runs.
